Day Trip - Los Angeles to Santa Barbara

Day Trip - Los Angeles to San Diego

Enjoy a ride South to San Diego on Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner in business class. On your way down the coast you can have a cup of coffee or juice, it's all included. After your relaxing ride, you will take a short stroll to the Midway Aircraft Carrier to explore the ship and it's exhibits. The Midway is within walking distance of Seaport Village and the Gaslamp district. After your day of sightseeing, you can settle into your business class seat for your ride home.

3 Day / 2 Night - Los Angeles to San Francisco

Catch Amtrak's Coast Starlight for a cruise up the California coastline. Onboard the train you will be in the sleeper which gives you your own private space and includes all meals onboard the train, as well as use of the Pacific Parlor Car with afternoon wine tasting. The train will take you to Oakland's Jack London Square where you will board a motor coach into the City by the Bay. Your stay is either in Union Square at the Kensington Park or Tuscan Inn at Fisherman's Wharf. You will have a 3 day Muni pass good on all Cable Cars, Street cars and Muni buses for unlimited rides. Also included is a City tour with a trip to Alcatraz Island. San Francisco has so many places to see, so take your time. Enjoy the Coast Starlight with all that it has to offer on the return.
